The Premier League has published the 10 fastest players this season.

Remarkably, Tottenham Hotspur defender, Micky Van de Ven, takes top spot.

Van de Ven set the fastest speed so far this season during their 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It came in first-half stoppage time when the 23-year-old ran at 37.12 km/h, to track back and tackle Alejandro Garnacho.

That puts him well above Nottingham Forest winger, Anthony Elanga (35.90 km/h), and Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland (35.74 km/h).
