Plateau United will cope with fixture congestion – Mangut

Plateau United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut is optimistic that his players will be refreshed for the Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 28 game.

The Peace Boys will face Mighty Jets in the final of the Plateau State Federation Cup this weekend before traveling away to face Abia Warriors next Wednesday.

The NPFL moved the matchday 28 games to allow for the State Federation Cup games to be played this weekend.

“The changes have to be done because the matches are too close,” he told the Peace Boys media.

“We need to circulate the players in order to get the best out of them on Wednesday.

“We try to present a team that will please the fans in the state Federation Cup final against Mighty Jets.”

Plateau United are fifth on the NPFL table with 44 points from 27 games.
