Plateau United boss optimistic despite injury crisis

Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut says the team will cope despite injuries to some of his key players.

The Peace Boys missed the service of some first-team players for the matchday seven 0-0 draw against Akwa United.

The experienced tactician urged the available players to use the opportunity to stake a claim for a regular playing berth in the team.

“I believe in my boys as we recruited 32 players,” he said in the post-match interview.

“Seven players are out but we still have good quality in the team, the majority of those who played for us against Akwa United proved themselves.
