Plateau United boss charges team to maintain scoring form

Plateau United head coach Mbwas Mangut has encouraged his players to maintain their impressive scoring form.

The Peace Boys have netted 10 goals in the last three games in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Jos club thrashed Bayelsa United 5-1 last weekend.

Mangut said his players have their confidence back after a poor start to the season.

“I know in football once in a while you can have a goal drought and we have passed through that,” he told Plateau United media.

“The players are having a personal self-confidence, and they are taking their time and chances.

“You can see in Kaduna same thing and against Bayelsa United too they can only improve and get better more.”

Plateau United will square up against Kwara United in their next game in Ilorin.
