Petroleum task force shuts down filling station in Jigawa

The Petroleum Products Task Force in Jigawa State has shut down the IMG filing station in Dutse metropolis for allegedly shortchanging customers.

The task force chairman, Col. Muhammad Alhassan (rtd) disclosed this while leading other team members for inspection.

He said the team was constituted by Governor Umar Namadi to supervise the activities of filling stations, especially during the hard times.

Alhassan said during the visit, the committee shut down the IMG filling station for depriving customers of 1.5 liters in every 10 liters.

He reiterated the committee’s commitment to ensuring that customer’s rights were well protected.

The chairman also urged them to fear Almighty Allah and sanitize their business for customers to have confidence in them.
