Popular singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo has told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro cannot take Nigeria to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that Peseiro’s men drew 1-1 against Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

Second-half goals from Motlomelo Mkhwanazi and Semi Ajayi ensured both teams shared a point each.

Reacting, Dakolo, in a tweet via his X account, also branded the Super Eagles’ display as ‘very embarrassing.’

“Dear @thenff, this coach can’t be the best coach available for a country like Nigeria,” he tweeted.

“This is very embarrassing. This man can’t take the Super Eagles to the World Cup. It is actually painful to watch.”
