PDP summons Suswam, Tsegba, Tsumba over alleged anti-party activities

The Working Committee of the Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has summoned the former governor of the state, Senator Gabriel Suswam, former speaker of the state House of Assembly, Terseer Tsumba, Terngu Tsegba and others.

They are alleged to have engaged in gross misconduct and anti party activities within the state.

According to a statement issued by Chief Bemgba Iortyom, the party’s Publicity Secretary, the summoned party members are to appear before the State Working Committee on Thursday.

The statement explained that the development became necessary following the invasion of the party’s State Secretariat in Makurdi on Tuesday by some persons led by suspended State Chairman, John Ngbede.

It was gathered on Wednesday that the crisis in the state chapter of the party has splintered the PDP into two factions.
