Team Nigeria have officially finished its engagements at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, without winning a single medal.
Hannah Reuben was the last athlete left to salvage a medal for the West African nation.
But she lost her second round fight in the women’s freestyle wrestling 76kg, losing 5-2 (Victory by points) to Mongolia’s Davaanasan Amar Enkh.
This comes a day after Tobi Amusan failed to secure a place in the final of the women’s 100m hurdles.
Nigeria’s 4x400m men’s relay team were also disqualified after their semi-final race.
It is Nogeria’s worst outing at the Olympics since London 2012.
The next Olympics will be staged in Los Angeles in 2028.
