The African champions finished the group stage with two wins and one defeat.
D’Tigress defeated Australia 75-62 in their opening fixture but lost to host nation France 75-54 in the second game.
They made history as the first African basketball team (male or female) to reach the quarter-finals at the Olympics.
USA on the other hand won all three group games against Japan, Belgium and Germany.
The encounter will hold at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy Arena, Lille on Wednesday.
