Pakistan condemns terror attack in west Afghanistan’s Mosque

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said the country has condemned in the “strongest terms” the terrorist attack at a Mosque by gunmen in west Afghanistan’s Herat province, resulting in loss of lives and injuries.

In a statement, the ministry sympathized with the victims and their families.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families in this hour of grief. The people and government of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the people of Afghanistan,” the statement added.

According to the ministry, Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including despicable attacks on places of worship.

Six people were shot dead and another was injured when a shooter opened fire on worshipers offering evening prayers at a Mosque in west Afghanistan’s Herat province.
