Fatai Osho has confirmed he has left his post as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, outfit, Awka United.
Osho quit the job following the Promise Keepers poor start to the 2023/24 NPFL season.
The Uyo club have recorded just three wins from 14 league outings this season.
The young tactician took to the social media to thank the management of the club led by Paul Bassey for their support during his time at the club.
“ELDER PAUL BASSEY, Sir, I can’t thank you enough for my time at Akwa United FC. You’re a rare breed that deserves all happiness and success. We gave it our all but it was not to be.This temporary set back will be followed by unimaginable success. I will forever appreciate you,” Osho wrote on his X account.
Akwa United are expected to name a replacement ahead of their matchday 15 clash with Sunshine Stars on Thursday.
