Osanga talks tough ahead of Nasarawa United, Wikki Tourists clash

Nasarawa United forward, King Osanga, has voiced his side’s readiness to maintain their position on the Nigeria National League summit.

The Solid Miners currently top the group C table with 10 points from five games.

Nasarawa United will square out with Wikki Tourists in a rescheduled matchday six clash on Friday.

The veteran forward assured that his team will not underrate their opponent during the game.

“Yeah, the game against Wikki Tourists is not going to be easy, but we approach every game seriously because if you want to promote to the elite league, there are no underdogs,” he told the club’s media.

“You have to win virtually every game to stay at the top. We are in a tough Group because two other teams in our Group were in the Premier League last season, including our next opponents, and they would be doing everything humanly possible to return to the top-flight, but we are more determined to pick one of the four tickets available to gain promotion back to the elite domestic football league.”
