Akin Olowokere has been appointed new head coach of Nationwide League One side, Ekiti United, DAILY POST reports.
Olowokere took over the reign from Ayodeji Ayeni who took charge of the club in an interim capacity last season.
The young tactician was presented to the state governor Biodun Oyebanji at the Governor’s office on Tuesday.
Olowokere has been tasked with the responsibility of securing promotion to the Nigeria National League next season.
Ekiti United were relegated to the lower division last season.
DAILY POST recalled that the Ekiti State Government sacked the previous coaching crew after the club’s relegation.
