Enyimba assistant coach, Olanrewaju Yemi will lead the team in Sunday’s matchday 26 encounter against Niger Tonardoes.
Yemi will be filling in for head coach, Finidi George who will miss the encounter due to international duty.
The Super Eagles will face Ghana and Mali in a friendly later this month.
Finidi will take charge of the Super Eagles for both games pending the appointment of a substantive head coach.
Yemi is also expected to be in the dugout when Enyimba face Kwara United in Ilorin next week.
The young tactician had earlier in the season took charge of the team during Finidi’s engagement with the national team at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
Yemi led Enyimba to three wins from six games.
Enyimba currently occupy fifth position on the table with 42 points.
