A former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has called on Nigerians to organise themselves and offload those he described as wicked leaders in the country.
The activist made the call while raising the alarm over the increasing level of hardship in the country.
The SaharaReporters publisher wondered how people manage to survive in Nigeria with salary as low as N30,000.
DAILY POST reports that the removal of fuel subsidy by the Nigerian government had further reduced the standard of living in the country.
Taking to his official X handle on Wednesday afternoon, Sowore wrote, “I am asking again and again, how do persons (Nigerians) receiving NGN30,000 live on that?
“How would they pay transportation to work or anywhere with N30,000 per month and then feed, buy medicine and pay children school fees?
“How could people even survive under these conditions? These wicked leaders who are living large on your backs must be offloaded! #RevolutionNow ORGANIZE, DO NOT AGONIZE ANYMORE!”
