NWFL resumes after two weeks break

The 2023-24 Nigeria Women Football League will continue on Wednesday(today) after a two-week festive break.

The matchday seven fixtures will take centre stage across all the league venues.

In Group A of the abridged league, Naija Ratels will face Confluence Queens at the Aguiyi Ronsi stadium in Abuja while Dannaz Ladies will battle with Abia Angels in Lagos.

From the Gombe centre, Adamawa Queens will tackle Heartland Queens, while Royal Queens will be up against Nasarawa Amazons in Sapele.

Group B fixture from the Yenagoa centre will see Bayelsa Queens host Edo Queens, while Delta Queens will entertain Sunshine Queens at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

In Other fixtures, Robo Queens and Rivers Angels will do battle while Remo Stars Ladies will face Ekiti Queens in Ikenne.

Heartland Queens and Edo Queens currently occupy the top spots in the two groups.

Three teams will qualify from each group for the playoffs where the winner of the league will be decided.
