Sunshine Stars forward, Chinedu Nwosu, has expressed delight after making his debut for the club.
Nwosu made his first appearance for the Owena Waves in the Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 37 encounter against Remo Stars.
The youngster emerged hero for the Akure club as his brace ensured a 2-1 win.
Nwosu stated that he his willing to contribute more to the team.
“Despite the fact that I’m not playing, I continued working hard by focusing on my training without any distractions from any angle because I was optimistic that my time will come,” he told The Hope page.
“With God on my side, I will always play with my heart for the Sunshine Stars, I thank our coach Kennedy Boboye and all the senior players in the team for their support and encouragement; they all inspired me positively.
“There are lot of good players out there who do not have a platform to showcase their talent, which is why I’m thanking the Ondo State Government and the management of Sunshine Stars for providing this platform for me and others to show the world our God-given talents.”
