Enyimba head coach, Olanrewaju Yemi, has said the most important thing is to continue to improve on their performance.
The People’s Elephant suffered a narrow defeat against Plateau United in a matchday 18 fixture at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday.
The defeat ended Enyimba’s five-game unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Yemi, believed that the encounter is a good advertisement for the Nigeria Premier Football League following both teams display.
“I’m really impressed with the way my boys played, its all about how we improved everyday because we know every game come with different challenges,” he stated during the post-match interview.
“We really prepared adequately for the game because Plateau United are a good side that like to play good football.
“It was a good game as everyone that came to watch the game can testify to that.”
Enyimba dropped down to fifth position on the table following the defeat.
The nine-time NPFL champions will lock horns with Shooting Stars next in Ibadan.
