NPFL: Victory over Lobi Stars non-negotiable – Tornadoes’ Daniel

Niger Tornadoes midfielder Papa Daniel has described his team’s week six tie against Lobi Stars as “must win.”

Daniel stated that the players are ready to end their winless run in Minna.

DAILY POST recalls that Niger Tornadoes are yet to record victory since their return to the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium.

The Ikon Allah Boys will battle with Lobi Stars at the venue on Sunday.

“We want to give our fans something to cheer about, it’s high time we break the jinx,” Daniel told Tornadoes media in a pre-match interview.

“We have had intensive training sessions geared towards getting a positive result for our teeming supporters.

“We have held talks as a team, both within ourselves and with the technical crew on how important a win is for the team this weekend and we have resolved to go all out for the maximum points.

“We know how it feels for the fan to not have experienced home victory yet after a long while but they should not fret, all we expect is their maximum support from the beginning of the match till the end.”
