Former Super Eagles winger Ejike Uzoenyi has been appointed youth team coach of Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers.
Uzoenyi took up the position following the completion of his coaching course in South Africa.
The 36-year-old retired from active football last year to pursue a career in coaching.
The 2013 AFCON winner had three playing spells with Rangers.
Uzoenyi also played for Enyimba and Sunshine Stars in the Nigerian top-flight.
He won the NPFL twice with Enyimba in 2005 and 2007 and also claimed the Federation Cup in 2005 with the People’s Elephant.
