The Nigeria Premier Football League(NPFL) U-17 team, has embarked on a two-week break.
The team is preparing for a training tour in Spain.
They are billed to visit the facilities of Spanish side Sevilla later in the month.
The assistant coach of the team, Ken Chukwu stated that the players will be ready for the tour.
“Technically we are almost ready. As you can see we get better everyday,” Chukwu told BSN Sports.
“This is the future of Nigeria football, the U17, U20 and Super Eagles players in future will emanate from these players.
“We are going to Spain to protect Nigeria image and the business part of it which will benefit the NPFL clubs. The income into the purse of the club is the foundation of the initiative.”
It’s will be recalled that the NPFL and the Sevilla signed a partnership deal last week.
