NPFL title race will be tough – Ogunmodede

Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede says the battle for the Nigeria Premier Football League title will be a fierce one.

The Sky Blue Stars, who have garnered 57 points, are four points behind leaders Rangers.

Ogunmodede said his side will continue their fight for a first NPFL title even though he reckoned it will be difficult for them to achieve their objective.

“In every game we know what it’s at stake till the end of the season,” he told the club’s media.

“It’s going to be the survival of the fittest and the elimination of the unfit, every game will be approached thesame way.”

Remo Stars will face Rivers United in their next league game.
