The Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 15 clash involving Shooting Stars and Rivers United has been postponed.
The match was scheduled for Lekan Salami Stadium on Thursday.
According to a letter from NPFL, the postponement was due to Rivers United’s CAF Confederation Cup engagement in Tunisia.
NPFL’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, said that a new date will be announced later.
Rivers United will take on Club Africain in a CAF Confederation Cup matchday four fixture at the Stade de Rades, Tunis, on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Shooting Stars will intensify their preparation for the matchday 16 clash against their eternal rivals, Rangers, at the Awka City Stadium next week.
Shooting Stars are winless in their last five games.
