The Oluyole Warriors have recorded just two wins from eight games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
The Ibadan club currently occupies 15th position on the table with eight points.
Lawal is optimistic they will get things right as the season progresses.
“Yes, we all know we have a big problem in terms of scoring goals, which has also been giving us sleepless nights. But I want to assure you all that we will soon get over it, because the coaches, led by Gbenga Ogunbote, are working tirelessly to address the situation,” he told the club’s media.
“We want our supporters and fans to be patient with the players and keep supporting us . We had similar issues last season but we later overcame it, so all we need is their continued support.”
