The Nigeria Premier Football League has shifted the matchday 34 tie involving Akwa United and Heartland.
The match was initially scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.
The game will now take place on Monday, June 3, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The NPFL head of operations, Davidson Owumi, made this known in a letter on Friday.
Owumi stated that the date change became necessary due to the approval given to the stadium to host a charity match by the William Troost-Ekong Foundation on Sunday.
The NPFL appealed to relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate logistics are provided for the successful hosting of the match.
They, however, regret any inconvenience the shift in date may have caused the fans of the clubs.
The Promise Keepers currently occupy the 15th position on the NPFL table.
