NPFL: Rangers to punish Ogunleye for red card against Ikorodu City

Rangers technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has revealed that midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye will be disciplined for his sending-off in the game against Ikorodu City.

Ogunleye received a red card for his unsportsmanlike action in the Flying Antelopes’ 1-0 win over Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Wednesday.

Ilechukwu said he is saddened by the unprofessional attitude of his player.

“I’m so sad about it. Sometimes, if you are not disciplined, you pay a big price for it,” an angry Ilechukwu stated to the media in Lagos.

“We won’t only leave Ogunleye out; we are going to punish him, we all know the referee’s decision is final, that is what we have been telling the players.”
