NPFL: Rangers, Rivers United set Enugu on fire

The City of Enugu is agog as Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, top clubs, Rangers and Rivers United, go head to head in a rescheduled matchday 14 fixture today (Wednesday).

Rivers United are brimming with confidence after securing a vital away point against Doma United in Gombe last week.

Rangers on the other hand suffered a narrow defeat against Akwa United in Eket.

The Flying Antelopes will bank on veteran forward Godwin Obaje, Isaac Saviour and Kazeem Ogunleye to unsettle their visitors’ defence.

The trio have contributed ten goals for coach Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side.

Rivers United are unbeaten in their last three away meetings against Rangers.
