NPFL: Offor vows Sporting Lagos will recover from poor run

Sporting Lagos head coach, Paul Offor, has reiterated his desire to help the team improve on their performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The modest side are making their maiden appearance in the NPFL.

After a bright start, Offor’s side are now finding the going too tough.

Sporting Lagos are without a win in their last four NPFL games.

The young tactician told the club’s supporters during a get-together that strive to help the team improve on recent performance.

“For 90 minutes you speak to the players through your supports,” Offor told the cheerful fans in Lagos.

“We won’t take the support for granted and will continue to work hard to achieve our set goals for the season.”

Sporting Lagos currently occupy 15th position on the NPFL table with 17 points from 16 games.

They will take on defending champions in their next NPFL game.
