NPFL: Niger Tornadoes return to Bako Kontagora Stadium

The Bako Kontagota Memorial Stadium, Minna has been approved to host matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League, DAILY POST reports.

The stadium is the home ground of NPFL side, Niger Tornadoes.

Niger Tornadoes last played at the ground in 2022.

This was to allow renovation to be carried out on the playing surface, match officials’ dressing rooms, toilets, television camera stands, and other upgrades.

Niger Tornadoes adopted the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna as their temporary home ground last season.

They will take on Nasarawa United in their next league game on the ground.
