Niger Tornadoes head coach, Majin Mohammed has expressed his disappointment following his team’s 1-1 draw against Lobi Stars.
Olawale Emmanuel grabbed the equaliser for Niger Tornadoes after Ossy Martins scored for Lobi Stars at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium, Minna.
Mohammed stated that he is speechless with his team’s failure to convert their chances despite his efforts in training.
“We played very well especially in the first half, we had our chances but we couldn’t convert them, at this point am shot of words about that, because we held training sessions on goal scoring but translating into match situations has always been the problem,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes media.
“Of course , I’m disturbed, as a human being, I have to, you can not be playing at your home, with a capacity crowd always coming to cheer you, looking for victory.
“Football is all about winning, no matter how well you play the end always justifies the means.
“A point is better than none like I’ve always said, because Lobi Stars are at the bottom side of the table does not mean they are not a good side, they are parading experience players in the team.
“We will continue to work until we get it right, especially at home.”
