NPFL: Mohammed opens up on key to Tornadoes’ win at Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes head coach, Majin Mohammed says victory over Plateau United was a testament to the team’s hard work and determination.

Mohammed’s side defeated Plateau United 2-1 at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

The young tactician singled out his defenders for praise in the game.

“We planned for this win. Our strategy worked perfectly. The players executed their roles exceptionally well,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.

“We knew Plateau United would push hard, but our defence was solid. The win is a testament to our team’s hard work and determination.”

“They came to Kaduna and beat us last season and we always had this in mind, that’s why prepared so well for them.

“Tornadoes have been playing home matches away from home for a while now, so I can say has become a mentality for them, because they see every away game as home game.”
