NPFL: Lobi Stars win away, 3SC end winless streak

Lobi Stars recorded the only away win of matchday 17 in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, DAILY POST reports.

The Makurdi club defeated their hosts, Kwara United, 2-0 in Ilorin.

Godwin Oshagbemi gave the visitors the lead on 21 minutes, while Stanley Oganbor netted the second a minute before the break.

Remo Stars beat Sunshine Stars 2-0 in the South West derby in Ikenne.

Aniekeme Okon scored twice late in the game to hand Daniel Ogunmodede’s all three points.

The Sky Blue Stars returned to the summit following the win.

At the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, 3SC ended their six-game winless streak courtesy of a hard-earned 1-0 victory against Bayelsa United.
