Lobi Stars have sought divine intervention following the team’s poor start to the new season.
The Pride of Makurdi players and officials received prayers from the Chaplain of the club, Rev Fr Emmanuel Asue at the Mccarthy Stadium on Wednesday.
Asue urged the players to show more determination to end the club’s struggles in the league.
Lobi Stars are winless in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
“As Jabez was blessed to become the most respected among his brothers, Lobi Stars will stand tall as one of the best in the Nigeria Premier Football League,” Rev Asue maintained.
Lobi Stars will lock horns with Shooting Stars in their next league game.
