NPFL: Dogo hopeful Nasarawa United will recover from poor form

Nasarawa United technical adviser Kabiru Dogo says he is optimistic of turning around the fortunes of the club.

The Solid Miners are winless in their last four league games.

Nasarawa United suffered a 2-0 defeat to Plateau United in a matchday 13 fixture at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

An own goal from Nasarawa United’s defender, Shina Kumater and a spot kick from Olawale Doyeni gave Plateau United victory in the game.

“We are still optimistic to turn the tide around for our good,” Dogo told Nasarawa United media.

“Nasarawa United deserved more from this game, especially after our first-half performance.

“We failed to take our chances, and our concentration lapsed in the second half, allowing Plateau United to take advantage.”

Nasarawa United are bottom of the league table with 12 points from 13 games.
