Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has described their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), matchday 12 narrow defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors as painful.
Mohammed’s side suffered a 1-0 loss to El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday in Maiduguri.
Mustapha Ibrahim’s strike made the difference for the hosts in the game.
Mohammed admitted that the outcome was a tough one but was quick to move on from the defeat.
“It was tough loss, a painful one, but we showed character,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.
“We’ll put this game behind and focus on the next game.”
Niger Tornadoes currently occupy ninth position on the table with 17 points.
