Sunshine Stars technical adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has blamed his players for the 2-0 loss to Kano Pillars.
Ahmed Musa’s brace earned Kano Pillars maximum points in the matchday five encounter.
Boboye said that his side paid the price for not converting their chances.
“It was a bad game for us. We played very well, but the result did not show how we performed,” Boboye stated in a post-match interview.
“We wasted many goal-scoring chances. If we had converted our chances, we would have been 4 goals up in the first half.
“When you fail to convert your chances, you get punished. Our opponents took theirs and made good use of them.
“We will keep working hard to ensure we win our next game against Rangers International.”
