Bendel Insurance have expressed their displeasure over the home loss to Abia Warriors in a matchday nine fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Sunday Megwo’s lone strike gave Abia Warriors a 1-0 win over Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday.
Bendel Insurance are, however, optimistic the team will recover from the defeat.
“Silence in the camp; everyone is downcast but is a part of the game of football. Win some, lose some but it is painful to lose at home,” Bendel Insurance wrote on X.
“We believe the dry bones shall rise again.”
Bendel Insurance dropped to 15th position on the NPFL table following the defeat.
