Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, has attributed his team’s away draw against Abia Warriors to hard work from his players.
Agagbe said his players fought hard to secure a point against the hosts.
Lobi Stars held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday(today).
Fabian Omaka opened the scoring for the host in the 70th minutes, before John Victor equalised from a free-kick in the last minute of the game.
“I’m very happy ,I give thanks to the players for the hard work,” he said in a post-match interview.
“I want to thank them for the fighting spirit and perseverance throughout the game.
“It’s shows that they are really hungry to achieve their target.”
Lobi Stars remain at the top of the table with 43 points from 24 games.
