NNL reminds clubs of zero tolerance to violence

The Nigeria National League has reminded clubs of zero tolerance against any act of violence that might bring the league to disrepute.

The league’s Chief Operating Officer, Dr Ayo Abdulrahaman, said this during his complimentary message to clubs across the country.

Abdulrahman commended the club’s cooperation, endurance and adherence to the league’s effort to reposition the league.

He encouraged the clubs to continue to re-educate their supporters against any act of violence during and after league games.

DAILY POST recalled that Mailantarki Care, Sokoto United and Ijebu United were recently fined and cautioned by the league’s disciplinary committee.

Also, over five referees have been dropped for exhibiting unprofessional conduct in the league.
