NNL: Abdullahi Adamu unveiled as Zamfara United head coach

Zamfara United on Tuesday unveiled Abdullahi Adamu as their new gaffer ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The appointment was formalized after the coach signed the dotted lines at the club house in Gusau, where he was eventually unveiled and presented to the media.

The young tactician is expected to bring his wealth of experience to Zamfara United having worked with Katsina United and Wikki Tourists in the past.

Adamu thanked the management of the club for finding him worthy to lead the team.

“I give all the glory and adoration to Almighty Allah for this day. I must also thank the State Government and the stakeholders who made this appointment possible.

“I really appreciate this gesture for finding me worthy of this appointment,” the told the club’s media.

“I will definitely do my possible best to prove my mettle in order to achieve notable success with the team. Work have started and we will leave no stone unturned so as to achieve the team’s target for the season.

“Zamfara United is known as one of the traditional teams in Nigeria Football, I and the entire technical crew will do our best to ensure that the lost glory of the team is restored.”
