The Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, says the Federal Government will support programmes and initiatives that are geared towards women empowerment through creative skills acquisition.
The Minister said this when personnel of Terra Culture Academy for Arts and the Business Day Media Foundation paid her a courtesy visit on Friday in Abuja.
She said the creative industry is a key driver in addressing youth unemployment and the empowerment of women, expressing the ministry’s passion towards promoting the sector.
“I extend my warmest greetings to the organizing team for the Women Creative Summit for this important initiative because I am very passionate about gender mainstreaming across the nexus of the Creative Economy,” she said.
