NFF suspends referee over poor officiating

The Nigeria Football Federation Refereeing Development Unit has suspended centre referee, Haruna Abdullahi from further officiating in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Abdullahi was in charge of the matchday 34 fixture involving Doma United and Lobi Stars at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe on Saturday.

Doma United won the game 1-0, with the winning goal from an offside.

The move was necessitated after a petition by Lobi Stars to the NPFL.

The decision to drop the official has been communicated to the Jigawa Football Federation.
