NFF sack more Nigeria National League referees

The Nigeria Football Federation Referees Development Committee has ordered the immediate sacking of two more referees from the Nigeria National League.

This was contained in a circular from the committee is in view of the outcomes of matches and other misconducts exhibited by the concerned officials

The affected referees are Ajibola Kassem from Ogun State and his first assistant, Akinade Saburi from Oyo State who officiated the matchday three games involving Ikorodu City and FC ONE Rocket.

The NNL Chief Operating Officer, Dr Ayo Abdulrahaman said the league body will continue to monitor the matches to ensure that the officiating is in line with the laws of the game.

DAILY POST recalled that the referee body had increased the indemnities of officials to aid their expenses prior to league matches.

The body also had earlier stepped down four referees since the start of the new season.
