The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced the appointment of Justin Madugu as interim head coach of the Super Falcons.
Madugu will be in charge of the nine-time African champions pending the appointment of a substantive head coach.
The NFF took the decision following the departure of the former handler of the team, Randy Waldrum.
Waldrum announced his resignation from the post earlier this month.
Madugu was one of the assistants to the American.
He will work together with other technical crew members.
The Super Falcons’ next big engagement is the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations finals, taking place in Morocco in the summer of next year.
