BREAKING: Nasarawa State Attorney General attends Appeal court’s hearing of Sule vs Ombugadu

The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, in Nasarawa State, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, has taken his place in court as the appeal court commences hearing on the case filed by Governor Abdullahi Sule against the ruling of the Election Petition Tribunal, which ousted him from office.

Sule is challenging the decision of the election court to favour PDP’s candidate, David Ombugadu.

Also seated is the Speaker, Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe (APC, Ugya/Umaisha) whose affirmation by the tribunal is also being contested.

The proceedings were initially scheduled for 9 am.
