The Naira appreciated against the Dollar at the foreign exchange market to end the week on a good note.
FMDQ data showed that the Naira appreciated marginally to N1541.52 against the Dollar on Friday from N1544.02 on Thursday.
This represents a slight N2.5 gain against the dollar compared to the N1544.02 exchange rate recorded the previous.
Similarly, at the black market, the Naira dropped to N1663 on Friday from N1650 exchanged on Thursday.
On a week-on-week analysis, the appreciated slightly against the N1,546.41 and N1665 exchange rate on Friday last week.
DAILY POST reports that the Dollar supply dropped to $87.51 million on Thursday.
The development comes as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Monetary Policy Committee meeting plans to decide on key Monetary stances including tackling inflation next week.
