Mizo urges Bayelsa United teammates to stay focused in relegation fight

Bayelsa United forward, Robert Mizo has urged his teammates to be focused on their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 14 clash against Plateau United.

The Prosperity Boys suffered a 2-0 defeat against Rivers United in a rescheduled fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Thursday.

Mizo described the loss as a disappointment but enjoined the players to show resilience in bouncing back against Plateau United on Sunday.

“It was a tough one for us at Rivers. Naturally, the mood is disappointed, but we’re resilient and focused on bouncing back stronger,” he told NPFL troll.

“Looking at the table, it’s a challenging position to be in.

“However, we’re concentrating on our strengths, working hard in training, and aiming to convert those efforts into positive results on the pitch.

“We have an important game at Plateau United on Sunday, and we must focus on the three points there.”

The match is billed for the New Jos Stadium at 4pm.
