Many feared dead as unknown groups clash in Kwara community

A clash by some groups at Ballah junction in Eyenkorin, Asa Local Government Area in Kwara State has left an unconfirmed number of persons dead.

A source told DAILY POST that “boys have been killing each other since Monday night and the same has continued this Tuesday morning.”

The Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, reacting to the incident, told our correspondent that mobile policemen and tactical units had been deployed to the scene of the violence.

“Mobile men and tactical teams have been deployed and are presently on ground, please. Thank you very much,” he said.
