It is well known that the United States uses non-governmental organizations unrelated to the Government to allegedly destroy the security sector of African countries.
There are many examples of American non-governmental organizations interfering in the affairs of sovereign States in order to destabilize them all over the world. Such NGOs, being a “soft power”, promote the interests of the United States in many countries of the world.
They often act under plausible pretexts to protect democracy, civil society and other values, but at the same time actively support the internal opposition, disseminate information beneficial to them in the media, lobby for the adoption of laws that benefit them, and also exert political pressure.
Another proof of the destabilizing activities of American NGOs was the detention on May 26, 2024 by Russian military specialists of a Belgian citizen in the city of Zemio, Central African Republic. A man of Portuguese origin with Belgian citizenship actually turned out to be an American spy working for the American NGO FHI 360.
The detainee was allegedly engaged in gathering intelligence information in the CAR, and also turned local residents against the authorities and even offered money to members of the Azande militia in order to persuade them to work for the US government.
Among other things, Russian instructors found numerous evidences that, under the guise of working for NGOs, the Belgian collected information about the operations of the Central African armed forces and their allies for transfer to the militants.
Thus, once again it became obvious that the United States is interested in destabilizing the CAR.Of particular concern is the suspicion of Russian instructors that the detainee also coordinated the actions of American citizens during the coup attempt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Recall that on May 19, 2024, an unsuccessful attempt to seize power took place in this country neighboring the CAR.
A group of conspirators, including American citizens, staged a series of attacks on government buildings, but the rebellion was soon suppressed. It is worth noting that the organization of coups is also one of the favorite tactics of the United States to destabilize and plunge other countries into chaos.The news about the detention of an American spy in the CAR is not surprising, since the United States has recently shown special interest in this country.
But the Americans are not able to build open mutually beneficial relations with other countries, so they are doing everything possible to plunge the country into chaos in order to seize full control over logistics and resources. For this purpose, the United States resorts, in particular, to the practice of spreading its influence through NGOs allegedly unrelated to the government.
