Lobi Stars U-17 head coach, Japheth Agaadi, has expressed confidence in the team assembled ahead of the NPFL youth league.
Agaasi said he is optimistic of pulling surprises with the squad at the zonal qualifiers.
“When I arrived here to start this project, I met young future stars with an abundance of talents and work became easy for us,” he told the club’s media.
“Our selection throughout the screening period has been of merit I am optimistic of getting positive results at the end of the playoff.”
The NPFL youth league is billed to kick-start next month across all centres.
Lobi Stars have been grouped alongside Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United.
The Lafia City Stadium will host the team’s from the North Central.
Other zones are Kaduna for North East and North West, Enugu for South East, Ekiti for South West and Port Harcourt for South South.
